Our Community

What is Ho‘opili?

Ho‘opili is West Oʼahu’s newest master-planned community designed to encompass everything residents might need — from jobs, to services and goods, to recreation, all within walking or biking distance from their homes.

In addition to residences, this community includes a Community Pavilion and Rec Center, parks and gathering places including Festival Street, Kipukas, Tot Lots and a Bark Park, two rail stops, bike and walking paths, and multiple types of commercial space.

With over 11,000 future residents, Ho‘opili will be one of the most vibrant communities in West Oʼahu.

How HCA Works

HCA Jurisdiction

HCA has jurisdiction over all of Ho‘opili. In January 2017, the Master Declaration was recorded, encumbering property in East Kapolei and making it subject to regulation by HCA.

Individual communities within Ho‘opili are designated as Subdistricts. Subdistricts may have their own associations and governing documents, but all Members are also members of HCA.

Member Rights & Responsibilities

All Owners of property in Ho‘opili are Class “A” Members of HCA. Members pay monthly assessment fees and must comply with the Master Declaration, Community Rules, and Design Guidelines.

After the Declarant Control Period, Members elect Community Representatives who vote on the Board of Directors.
